An exceptional vintage with nuanced aromatics. Fresh aromas of cherry, white peach with hints of vanilla bean and orange zest. The palate is lush strawberry and apricot over a bright core of acidity and a weightless, ethereal finish. Power and delicate at the same time
“From the biodynamically farmed estate vineyard, this boldly fruity wine loads up with a rich cherry flavor accented by orange marmalade, barrel toast, coffee and cream. This has the sturdy structure to develop nicely through 2025.” -P.G., Wine Enthusiast
94 points Wine Enthusiast: “Winemaker Nicholas Keeler deftly uses barrels and amphorae to bring depth and detail to all of his wines. Here, using fruit from the first planting on Ribbon Ridge, he crafts a sharply defined wine with bright flavors of raspberry and Bing cherry. Tannins are firm and polished, the acids bring a touch of lemon, and the seashell aromatics of the AVA are subtle but present. Drink now and into the early 2030s” -P.G.
Bright and lively notes of stone fruit leap from the glass, lifted up by citrus peel and grapefruit oil and reigned in by a heady woodsy element with a touch of salinity. These carry through to a mouthwatering palate that is sharp, lengthy and has incredible structure. The texture of this stunning and elegant Chardonnay is voluminous and the flavors unfold layer after layer. Aromas of jasmine reveal themselves, while apricot and lychee show up on the palate after the wine has seen a bit of air. A true pleasure to sip on and surely a classic for years to come.
