The foundation of our wines begins with the highest quality grapes grown by family and friends who farm organic and biodynamic vineyards. We strive to create transparent reflections of each vineyard site with gentle handling. Each and every vintage we push the boundaries of our capabilities to create wines that are authentic and true, reflecting the soul of this region.
Diligently managed, spontaneous whole cluster and destemmed, whole berry fermentations are cared for faithfully. Fermentation and aging vessels include rotary oak puncheons, oak uprights, jacketed stainless tanks, Italian amphorae, and concrete eggs. The results are wines with textural and aromatic complexity.

“From the biodynamically farmed estate vineyard, this boldly fruity wine loads up with a rich cherry flavor accented by orange marmalade, barrel toast, coffee and cream. This has the sturdy structure to develop nicely through 2025.” -P.G., Wine Enthusiast

2017 Authentique Ridgecrest Vineyard Pinot Noir

94 Points Wine Enthusiast

Winemaker Nicholas Keeler deftly uses barrels and amphorae to bring depth and detail to all of his wines. Here, using fruit from the first planting on Ribbon Ridge, he crafts a sharply defined wine with bright flavors of raspberry and Bing cherry. Tannins are firm and polished, the acids bring a touch of lemon, and the seashell aromatics of the AVA are subtle but present. Drink now and into the early 2030s” -P.G., Wine Enthusiast

2017 Authentique Eola Springs Vineyard Saint Augustine Block Pinot Noir

92 Points Wine Enthusiast

“This focused wine uses own-rooted Pommard dating from the late 1970s. As is often true with block selections, it’s got a vertical palate, good definition, but lacks the broadness of some of the other Authentique Pinots. Strawberry fruit and lemony acids with a touch of bitter rind are in play, with cleansing minerality and fine balance throughout.” -P.G., Wine Enthusiast
